Website Content and SEO Relation

Recently I have recieved a number of e-mails asking the relation between SEO (search engine optimisation) and the website content, in terms of the website text.

These 2 work in parallel to each other and need to complement each other in order to get satisfactory search engine marketing success. Its what people are looking for that you should write about your website and not what ‘you think’ or even better what ‘you wish’ that web users are looking for!

So next time you are doing a review of your website make sure to polish that text! If you need help give me a call or e-mail me. At EBN we offer great content development packages apart from search marketing content analysis.

Duplicate Content Warning!

So many people have been involved into multiple domain marketing to help them strenghten their online campaign. Thats ok, its a great way to generate a strong network of inbound marketing, something today we realy need.

But few people take those extra mintes to redo the text and make sure that the content is unique in every domain they market.

Be aware that if you cut and paste your homepage description or main paragraph of text and just paste it in all the ‘new and extra’ pages you are trying to market might even end up as duplicate content! And yes, if that would be flagged as duplicate content then you realy are in a mess. Why? the reason is simple, your main website will loose the unique point of content entry since other domains have the same text.

So, make sure you spare those extra hours if need be to create great results with your online marketing.

Happy marketing,
Adrian

Royalty Free Images – How much do these cost?

Alot of people think and also understand from ‘royalty free images’ that these are images or even photos you can look for them in a website and given to you for free to use.

This is very false! A ‘Royalty Free Photo’ is a type of license that you still have to purchase. You buy at a fee the use of the photo as pre-defined in your purchase.

Photographers spend lots of hours and effort to produce good quality photos and we must appreciate their works by avoiding piracy and using photos without consent.
